About the Event

Do you have a "Negative Nancy" affecting the rest of your team? Unsure how to approach your "Steady Eddy" who does what's needed but nothing more?   Do you feel anxious when you need to have a challenging conversation perhaps with a customer, client or a team member? If this sounds familiar to you, why not join me for a full day training experience where I will share with you some tried and tested techniques that you can use straightaway to break through the ice and come out the other side feeling confident in how to prepare and deliver your conversation. 

Who is this for? Anyone who needs to be able to handle difficult conversations with confidence. This could be supervisors, team leaders, managers or someone dealing with customers/ clients face to face or over the phone. 

Duration: Full day workshop 9.30am to 4pm and includes lunch and break refreshments. 

Objectives:

  • Discuss what are difficult conversations and uncover what holds us back from dealing with them
  • Be able to understand why people think, act and feel the way they do using the HBDI Whole brain thinking model
  • Learn how to prepare for the conversation effectively beforehand
  • Learn a tried and tested structure for conversations to encourage a positive outcome
  • Practice the skills to handle difficult conversations

What we will cover: We like to approach our training experience by working on Mindset, Skillset and Toolkit.

Invigorate Your Mindset - How to confidently approach the discussion and either be assertive with your information or perhaps need to be more persuasive in order to change the recipients mindset.

Develop Your Skillset - How to prepare for the conversation, use a structure that sets clear expectations and have practiced giving constructive feedback while at the same time listening and building engagement. 

Play with the Toolkit - Leave with resources that you can refer back to and implement the next day plus a small goody bag because everyone loves a goody bag!
